Recently (about 3 weeks back) ,
I happened to attend a Seminar on Landscape and Nature Photography by
National Geographic. Many people attended this seminar. It was a whole
day event. It was organized in University of St. Thomas in Houston. The
guest speakers were well known National Geographic Contributors -
Michael Melford and Eddie Soloway.
It was organized in 2
sessions. In the morning session the first topic that discussed was how
to inspire to take Nature Photography. The subsequently What are the
skills a Nature Photographer should possess?, how to keep the gear
simple.
In the
afternoon session ,both Photographers discuss their assignments;
Michael's experiences are unique and his images are stunning, out of the
world. His sense of humor is par excellence. Then Eddie has discussed how to break out of the box and try taking pictures in a different way.
Overall it was a good experience. I discusses more details in my following VLOG.
